The Second International scientific conference

«FLORICULTUFE: TEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL ASPECTS»

which will take place in Yalta, the Republic of Crimea,

November 8 – 13, 2020

 

 

The scientific program of the Conference provides for the holding of sectional meetings in the following research directions:

  1. Genetic resources of flower plants: diversity, mobilization, study, conservation, exposure.
  2. Objectives, methods and achievements of flower plant breeding.
  3. Status and prospects of biotechnology in floriculture: clonal micropropagation; creation of collections in vitro; genetic engineering.
  4. Current trends in the use of flower crops in landscape design, phytodesign and floristry.
  5. Technologies of cultivation and methods of reproduction of flower crops of open and protected ground. Diseases and pests of flower crops and methods of controlling them. Issues of nursery managing.

The conference will include plenary and sectional meetings, as well as a poster session.

 

The working languages of the conference are Russian and English.

 

To pre-register as a participant of the II International scientific conference "Floriculture: theoretical and practical aspects" you must fill out the registration form (download) and send it to the e-mail address tsvetovodstvo20@mail.ru

The file with the registration form should be named in Latin by the name and initials of the participant, for example, ivanov_nn.doc.

 

The collection of abstracts will be released by the beginning of the conference. According to the decision of the Editorial Board, the best materials of the conference participants’ reports will be published in the journal "Bulletin of the SNBG" (State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles, DOI), and the rest of the papers will be published in the journal "Plant Biology and Horticulture: theory, innovation" (DOI, RSCI).

 

Abstracts should be sent (name of the file – abstract_ivanov_nn.doc) to the email address tsvetovodstvo20@mail.ru until September 1, 2020.

The confirmation of registration and receipt of abstracts will be sent by e-mail to all registered participants within 5 working days. If you have not received confirmation, please contact the Organizing Committee.

 

Poster report (90 x 120 cm) must contain: title (title of the report, name of the speaker, name of the organization, city, country) and a report on the scientific work (introduction, objective of the study, materials and methods, results, discussion, conclusions).

 

Rules for articles’ submission are set out on the official website of the publication http://boolt.nbgnsc.ru/ and http://scbook.nbgnsc.ru/ under the heading "Information For Authors"

 

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject materials that do not comply with the rules and the main thematic directions of the conference.

 

The second information letter with information about the registration fee, accommodation conditions for the conference participants, excursions and the preliminary program of the conference will be sent to the registered participants after September 1, 2020.
